Picatinny Mount for Laserworks LE-032 Rangefinder – Sightlok RF-1

The Laserworks LE-032 is a great budget weapon-mounted laser rangefinder.

Unfortunately, the mount it comes with leaves room for improvement. The flaws include:

• Excessive flex and wobble
• Tendency to lose zero
• Insufficient adjustment range
• Inflexible placement options

The Sightlok RF-1 addresses all of these issues. It locks down the Laserworks LE-032 rangefinder so it will maintain zero under the most adverse conditions. It also offers more flexibilty in mounting options. The rangefinder can be mounted on either side of scope, and can be adjusted forward and back. Azimuth/Windage and Elevation Adjustments enable co-align/co-witness of rangefinder with rifle scope.

The Sightlok RF-1 is designed and made in the U.S.A. from aerospace grade aluminum alloy with MIL-A-8625 spec Type III anodized hard coat finished in matte black.

Non-slip rubber on the clamp surfaces ensures that the rangefinder is held securely but not scratched by the clamp.

MOUNT REQUIREMENTS:

The Sightlok RF-1 mounts securely to any Picatinny (MIL-STD 1913) or Weaver rail.

For those interested in upgrading to a rangefinder with a built-in ballistics calculator, the Sightlok RF-1 also supports the Sig Sauer line of KILO BDX rangefinders. It can accommodate rangefinders with widths ranging from 1.14″ (28.8mm) to 1.58″ (40.2mm).

SIZING AND ADJUSTMENT RANGE:

The placement of the Sightlok RF-1 can be adjusted in all 3 dimensions: height, length, and horizontal distance from Picatinny/Weaver rail.

Rangefinder height adjustment (choose between 3 rails): 1.24″ (31.6mm)

Length adjustment: (sliding variable length as measured from from the front of the rail clamp to the back of the rangefinder holder) 4.3″ to 6.5″ (10.9-16.5cm)

Horizontal distance from Picatinny/Weaver rail adjustment (3 different-length options are included):
Small: 1.38″ (3.5cm)
Medium: 1.62″ (4.1cm)
Large: 1.94″ (4.9cm)

Having variable options for horizontal distance from the Picatinny/Weaver rail ensures that the rangefinder laser can clear windage/brightness/focus knobs/focus rings on the scope.

MOUNTING CLEARANCE:

The Sightlok RF-1 clamp needs just 0.25″ (6.5mm) of clearance between the top of the rail and the bottom of the scope to mount under the scope. It can also be flipped and mounted to the rail under the scope occular if other mount points are obstructed.
